Tufts, Frances Elizabeth – Age 72 of Shubenacadie East, passed away at home on January 7, 2025.
Born in North Salem, she was a daughter of the late Harold and Marguerite (Weir) Parker.
In her younger years, Fran enjoyed the hobby farm she and her husband had. She loved to dance, was full of life and made many friends wherever she went. Her working years were spent with housekeeping at Keddy’s Motel, the Airport Hotel and in the deli department of Superstore.
Surviving are daughter, Dawn (Carl); son, Stanley (Margaret); siblings, Kenny (Cathy), Reggie (Rhonda), Bennie (Lorraine), Wally (Wanda), Bertha (Mike), Vincent (Juanita), Marjorie (Rick); grandchildren, Daniel, Jacob, Krista, Michael; several great-grandchildren; and her dog, Brutus.
She was predeceased by her first husband, Stanley Tufts; second husband, Robert Miller; son, Tyson; brother, Cecil; sister-in-law, Sandra Parker.
Cremation has taken place.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
