Preeper (Hare), Lorraine - passed away peacefully in The Mira, Truro on February 24, 2024.
Born in Dutch Settlement she was a daughter of the late Albert and Dela (Hurshman) Hare.
Lorraine devoted her life to taking care of her family. In her spare-time she enjoyed her son’s hockey games, fishing, driving the four wheeler, playing cards, quilting and bowling. She loved having friends and family visit especially on Christmas Eve when you were guaranteed lots of good food and a cup of hot tea.
She will be missed by her sons, Barry (Janet), Lantz; Donnie (Sandra), Lantz; Laurie (Pauline), Elmsdale; Roger (Ellen), Goffs; grandchildren, Ian, Lindsay, Darren and Mark; eight great-grandchildren; sisters, Angel, Betty & Carol.
She was predeceased by husband, Allan; brothers, Reg, Louie, Billy, Lionel, Cecil, Laurie; and sisters, Evelyn and Vivian.
Cremation has taken place under the direction of Arimathea Funeral Cooperative, Upper Musquodoboit.
At her request there will not be a funeral service.
