Pauline Ellen (MacKay) Graham

Graham, Pauline Ellen (MacKay) - age 85 of Eastville, Nova Scotia passed away peacefully on December 28, 2024, in The Magnolia Continuing Care Community, Enfield.

Pauline was born in Eastville and was a daughter of the late Malcolm and Erma (McCoul) MacKay. Upon marrying her late husband, John “Jack” Graham, they settled in Burnside, Colchester County and this is where she raised her family, ultimately moving back home to Eastville. She was an avid volunteer in her community; a member of the First United Church, founding member and volunteer for the Burnside Community Club, Stewiacke Valley Red Cross, Crime Watchers, and past Director of the Co-op. She had several home businesses, selling Avon and Regal to name a few. She enjoyed quilting, crafting, gardening, music, and spending time with her family.

Pauline is survived by her children, Richard (Lesley) Graham, Bedford; Michael Graham, Grande Prairie; and Paulette Read, Dartmouth; several grandchildren and great grandchildren whom she adored; sister, Dianne (Murray) Farnell, Enfield; many nieces, nephews. She was preceded by her husband, John P “Jack” Graham; son Wayne Graham; parents; brothers; Sedley and Karl MacKay.

We would like to thank the exceptional staff at the Magnolia Continuing Care Community, for the care they provided for Pauline during her brief stay there. You made her feel safe, cared for and a part of the Magnolia community.

Cremation has taken place. A family graveside service will be held at a later date with interment in Proven Cemetery, Burnside.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Pauline’s memory to the Proven Cemetery in Burnside. Donations will be collected by the Burnside-Pembroke Community and Park Association via e-transfer to burnsidepembroke@gmail.com .
