Moore, Richard Tully – Age 76 of Elderbank, passed away peacefully on February 21, 2020, in the Centennial Building, QEII Health Sciences Centre, Halifax, with his loving family by his side. Born in Antrim, he was a son of the late Henry and Mary (Dillman) Moore.
Richard loved hunting, fishing, four-wheeling, and spending time with his forever friend, Buck. He was a proud member of the Welders and Pipe Fitters Union Local 56. His family could always count on him to be their biggest supporter.
Surviving are his beautiful wife of 54 years, the former June Stone; daughters, Barbara (Tim), June (Stacey); grandchildren, Matthew, Mitchell (Emilie), Ethan, Lucas (Madison), Amelia, Kevin; great-grandson, Orion; siblings, Margaret Pelrine, Reta Pickles, Henry (Jean), Nina (Harold) Dort, Edgar (Linda), Clara Campbell; sisters-in-law, Dora and Anne. He was predeceased by son, John Allan in infancy; siblings, Anthony, Freda, Robert, George, Ronald; brothers-in-law, Kimmer Pelrine, Stan Pickles, Ron Campbell.
Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held Monday from 7-9 p.m. and funeral service Tuesday at 11 a.m., both in St. Andrew’s United Church, Elderbank, with Calvin Burt, student minister officiating.
