MacDow, Norma Grace– Age 86, Upper Musquodoboit, passed away February 24, 2020 in Valley View Villa, Middle Musquodoboit. Born in Lindsay Lake, she was a daughter of the late Elmer and Leona (Miller) Stewart.
Norma was an avid knitter, enjoyed picking berries and reading. She was a member of the UCW at St. James United Church and a member of the Fellowship Club in Upper Musquodoboit. Surviving are daughters, Violet (Garnet) Leslie; Theresa (Dan) Fletcher; Leona Miller; son, William; 12 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; sisters, Mona Rogers, Karen (Graham) Swaine; brothers, Currie (Debbie), Bruce (Cheryl), Calvin (Ferne), Boyde (Jackie), Eric (Ann); many nieces and nephews; brother-in-law Donnie MacDonald; sister-in-law Susan Stewart. She was predeceased by husband, Kenneth; a great-grandson; brothers, Loren (Linda), Ivan, Bryan; sister, Erma; brother-in-law, Carl Rogers.
Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Norma’s life will be held Saturday, 2 – 4 p.m. in Upper Musquodoboit Fellowship Hall, 8397 Hwy 224. Memorial donations may be made to Upper Musquodoboit Fellowship Hall, Heart and Stroke Foundation or to a charity of choice.
