Dalrymple, Blois Arthur – Age 63. On February 17, 2020, Blois passed away peacefully at his home in Head Jeddore with his loving wife, Dixie, by his side.
Originally from Clam Bay, Blois worked as an autobody technician at various businesses in HRM and Alberta. His greatest passion was restoring classic cars and attending car shows. He was loved by all who had the pleasure of calling him friend.
Surviving are his wife, Dixie (Fitzmorris); his mother, Treva “Peggy” Dalrymple; brothers, Frederick (Dianna), Charles (Angela); sisters, Roseta (Ronald) Power, Wanda (Keith) Laybolt, Maude (Michael) Webber, Donna (Doug) Richards, Suzanne (Wilfried) Schroedter, Bonnie (Rick) Shaw; many nieces and nephews. Blois was predeceased by his father, Lowell Francis “Frank” Dalrymple; and niece, Rebecca Dalrymple.
Cremation has taken place. Funeral service will be held Monday, February 24 at 11 a.m. in Jeddore United Baptist Church, 8 West Jeddore Rd., with Pastor Aubrey Deslatte officiating. Committal will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Jeddore United Baptist Church.
Arrangements are under the direction of Arimathea Funeral Cooperative, Upper Musquodoboit.
