Meekins, Earl S. – Age 86 of Camden. It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Earl Sanford Meekins on January 2, 2020, at home. He was predeceased by his wife, Marjorie (Taylor); his sons, David and Frank. He is survived by his son, George (Joyce); his daughters Elizabeth (Roger), Earlene, Susan; his nine grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren.
Earl was an employee of the Town of Truro for 43 years
There will be no funeral by Earl’s request. A Celebration of Life will take place in Harmony Camden United Church from 6-9 p.m. on Wednesday, January 15. Family interment will be at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Camden Cemetery or a charity of your choice. Arrangements are under the direction of Arimathea Funeral Cooperative, Upper Musquodoboit.
