Hoyt, Kenneth Milton – Age 73, of Brentwood, passed away peacefully on September 15, 2018, in Colchester East Hants Health Centre, following a short battle with cancer. Born in Onslow, he was a son of the late Melnor and Florence Hoyt.
Ken was a lifelong gardener and dearly loved working on his property and with his flowers. He had been employed with Air Canada for 34 years from where he retired in 2001.
Ken is survived by Weaty, his best friend and wife of 49 years. He was the proud father of Troy (Charity), Victoria B.C.; and dearly loved his granddaughter, Haley, Calgary. He is also survived by brothers, Frank (Joan), Ronald (Cathy), Russell (Sandy); sisters, Carol (Wayne), Doris (Sterling).
Cremation has taken place. In keeping with Ken’s wishes there will be no visitation or funeral service. Memorial donations may be made to the SPCA or a charity of your choice.
Arrangements are under the direction of Arimathea Funeral Cooperative, Upper Musquodoboit.
