Graham, Shawna Paulette - Age 51, of Middle Stewiacke, passed away peacefully in Colchester East Hants Health Centre, Truro on Saturday, August 3, 2024 after a courageous battle with brain cancer.
Shawna is survived by her soulmate and best friend, Todd; her children, Ashley (Peter), Cody (Emily); grandchildren, Makaela, Jordynn, William, Stella and Cameron; parents, Courtney and Paulette Richards; brother, Joey (Crystal); mother-in-law, Marjorie Graham; along with many other family members.
She was predeceased by her father-in-law, Ross.
For the past 17 years Shawna worked as a well-respected CCA (Continuing Care Assistant), she loved her coworkers like family. She was passionate about life, including her family, friends, party planning, kayaking, baking, travelling and most of all her children and grandchildren.
One of her greatest joys was being surrounded by her loved ones, whether it was a washer toss tournament, bonfire, bike tour, kayaking on the river, trips down south, weekends at White Point, or relaxing at the camp.
Shawna was an amazing person, kind, compassionate and always there for anyone in need, she always made sure everyone felt welcomed and special.
Special thanks to Shawna’s friends and family for the support over the last 15 months and the Palliative Care nursing staff in Colchester East Hants Health Centre.
As per Shawna’s request there will be no visitation or funeral. There will be a private burial at a later date.
