Rudolph, Eldon Charles - It is with profound sadness and broken hearts that we announce the death of Eldon Charles Rudolph, age 84, of Porters Lake, on August 26, 2024 in Twin Oaks Memorial Hospital.
Born in Liscomb, Guysborough County, he was a son of the late Myrtle (Bezanson) and Bernard Rudolph
Eldon worked for a number of years at Woodlawn Dairy, was a taxi driver for 28 years
and just before retirement, he drove school bus for Stock Transportation. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, playing country music on
his guitar and playing cards. He was also a member of Musquodoboit Harbour Lions
and received many volunteer awards. He was also very active in his church.
Surviving are his wife, Eleanor (Hebb); daughter, Sharon; son, Charles (Jill); granddaughters, Amanda, Stephanie; grandson, Carter; great-granddaughters, Isabell and Abigail; sisters, Linda, Dartmouth; Darlene (Johnny) Burgoyne, Jeddore; brothers,
Douglas, Surrey, BC; Raymond (Carol), Bedford; Lawrence (Barb), Liscomb; Gary (Janet), Musquodoboit Harbour; special adopted family, Becky, Steve Redmond and family; and special niece, Janet.Anderson.
He was predeceased by his half brother, Frank Jack; brother, Grant; and sister, Diane Smith.
A Celebration of Life will be held in Chezzetcook Lions Club, 89 East Chezzetcook Road, Head Chezzetcook on September 20, 2024, 2 - 4 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Heart and Stroke Foundation or a Lions Club of your choice.
A special thank you to his nurses and doctors at Twin Oaks Memorial Hospital who cared for him.
