Fisher (Burris), Brenda Dianne – age 72 of Alton, passed away on Sunday, August 25, 2024, in Colchester East Hants Health Centre, Truro, with family at her side, after a brief cancer diagnosis.
Brenda was born in Brantford, Ontario, to Sylvia (Pitts) and the late James Burris.
She was a highly accomplished Loss Prevention and Asset Protection Officer for 35 years. Her proven performance was supported by numerous awards and achievements in her field. Brenda worked up until 3 months prior to her death.
Brenda had many interests, but her greatest interests were her flowers and her dogs.
Brenda is survived by her husband of 54 years, Keith; daughter, Anita, and granddaughter, Christina. Also, her siblings, Jim (Leona) Burris and Janice (Harley) Redmond.
She was predeceased by her father and her sister, Jaqueline Moore.
As per Brenda’s wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral service.

Cremation has taken place. Arrangements have been entrusted to Arimathea Funeral Cooperative.
