Baker, Judith Rae – Age 79, passed away peacefully at home August 20, 2024.
Born in Halifax, she was a daughter of the late Raymond and Julia (Zwicker) Jacques.
She was happily married for 56 years. She worked at Moir’s Chocolate factory before assuming the role of a stay-at-home mom. She enjoyed countless drives to local coffee shops with her husband. In her free time, she enjoyed colouring, diamond art and playing games as well as watching tv or listening to the radio. She recently spent time with her homecare providers driving to Tim Hortons and on other road trips.
She will be deeply missed and always loved by her husband, Melvin; son, Raymond (Wendy); granddaughters, Shianne, Chelsey, Brandy; and great-grandson, Carlos, all of East Jeddore.
Visitation will be Monday, August 26, 2024 1 – 1:45 p.m. followed by a funeral service at 2 p.m. in Marine Drive Pentecostal Church, officiated by Pastor Scott Anderson. Burial will take place in East Jeddore Cemetery after the service. A reception will follow in Marine Drive Pentecostal Church.
