Burris, Matthew George Sr. – of Upper Musquodoboit, passed away peacefully on Monday, April 22, 2024 at home.
Born in Middle Musquodoboit, he was the eldest son of the late George and Myra Burris.
Surviving are his wife of 54 years, Margaret (Fisher); children, Matthew Jr. (Barbara), Middle Musquodoboit; Mary Jane, South Korea; Andrew (Samantha), Winnipeg; grandchildren, Danielle, Brenden, Aislinn Marie, Ava Elizabeth; brothers, Adam (Betty), Shelburne; George (Katherine), Bible Hill; nephew, Alexander; nieces, Christina, Elspeth and Joanna.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by son, George.
Matthew’s body has been donated to Department of Medical Neuroscience Dalhousie University.
A graveside service will be announced at a later date.
