Burris, Arthur Ewan – age 76, of Middle Stewiacke, passed away peacefully at home on April 19, 2024.
He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Shirley Burris; daughter, Lindsay (Andrew) Wallace, Eastern Passage; son, Laurie Burris, Saskatoon; grandchildren, Hayley, Liam, Aubrey and Adley; sisters, Sheena McIver, Moira (Jerry) Cherrett; and many nieces and nephews.
Art was predeceased by his parents, Laurie and Jeannie (McBean) Burris; daughter-in-law, Colleen Burris; brother-in-law, Allison McIver; and his parents-in-law, Howard and Jean Wadden.
As a retired iron worker, Art “Grumpie” enjoyed spending time tinkering on many projects, giving people his opinions whether they wanted them or not and relaxing at the lake. He will be missed by all who knew him.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Children’s Wish Foundation or IWK Foundation.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
