Killen, June Elizabeth –Age 72 of Middle Musquodoboit passed away peacefully with her daughters by her side on September 13, 2023. Born in Elderbank, she was the daughter of the late Raymond and Jean (Parker) McMullin.
June was an avid flower gardener who won many ribbons for her outstanding flower arrangements. She enjoyed the natural beauty of Nova Scotia, from the flowing rivers to the spectacular autumn colours to the amazing sunsets. Although nothing brought her more joy than spending time with her beautiful grandsons and precious great-granddaughter.
She was predeceased by her loving husband, Edward Killen and sister, Marjorie. June is survived by daughters, Debbie and son-in-law, Richard; Kim and son-in-law, Andrew; and grandsons, Brian and his wife, Emma; Nicholas, Gregory and Liam; great-granddaughter, Janaea June; sisters, Marilyn Bond and Irene Hill.
A graveside service will be held in Pioneer Cemetery, Middle Musquodoboit on Tuesday, September 19, 2023 at 11 a.m. with Rev. Allan Lynk officiating. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Colchester East-Hants Hospice Society or a charity of your choice. Arrangements have been made under the direction of Arimathea Funeral Cooperative, Upper Musquodoboit.
