Glawson, Duncan Elliott – We are very sad to announce the passing of our loved one on August 2, 2023. Duncan was born in Manitoba 93 years ago to the late Wallace and Hazel Glawson.
He spent most of his working life in the woods in the winter time then in the saw mill in the summer. He retired from the Department of Transportation.
Duncan is survived by his wife of 69 years, Dorothy (Fraser); sons, Rodney (Kathie), Ricky (Doris); daughter, Karen (Rick); grandsons, Matthew and Justin; step-grandchildren, Peter, Mya, Erin, Amanda and Colin; step great-grandchildren, Evvy, Kevin and Lynlee; sisters, Jean, Elva (Fred); brother, Harris (Agnes); and sisters-in-law, Helen and Barbara.
He was predeceased by sisters, Edith (Reginald), Gladys (Murray); brothers, Douglas, Harold (Rita), Kenneth; and brother-in-law, Edson.
We will miss seeing dad sitting in his favorite chair looking out the front window.
Funeral will be Wednesday August 9th at 2 p.m. in Saint Thomas Anglican Church, Mooseland and a Celebration of Life to follow at the Community Hall.
