Crouse, Paul William - Age 66 of MacKay Siding, passed away on July 22, 2023 in Colchester East Hants Health Centre, Truro.
Born in Truro, he was a son of the late Clarence and Winnifred (Zinck) Crouse.
Paul worked in the construction industry, building structures from the ground up, one of them being his home. He was employed with ATL Dairy Automation in Milford, until his health would no longer allow him to do so. Paul worked hard and retirement never entered his mind. Although quiet in nature, just mention a work project and Paul would talk your ear off. During the winter months, Paul enjoyed curling at the Brookfield Curling Club and in the summer, he was eager to go camping. He never passed up a game of Canasta and took pride in winning most of the games.
Paul is survived by his wife, Evelyn; daughter, Heidi (Marc) and his children, Luc, Elly; son, Jonathan (Jen) and their children, Clara, Chesley, Clemmie and Carlisle; brothers, Frank (Gail), John (Shari); sister, Wendy McLaughlin; several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles. Besides his parents, Paul was predeceased by his brother, Allen and brother-in-law, Chris McLaughlin.
As per Paul's request, there will not be a formal visitation or funeral service. A graveside service will be held at a later date. If so desired, donations may be given to the Canadian Cancer Society in Paul's memory.
The family would like to thank all the medical professionals involved with Paul's care. You were amazing and Paul felt supported and well cared for at all times. We are forever grateful!
