Reg was a meat cutter for a number of years before an accident put him off work for a year. He then went to work for the Town of Truro for 20 plus years, a job he loved, worked hard at and made many friends. Reg loved the outdoors as you could tell by the well manicured lawns and the evenly snow-blown driveways at his Shortts Lake Road home. Reg enjoyed going to the Camp with Hallie and the boys. He looked forward to the Stewart family reunions every five years and especially the Ontario boys coming home every year for the big Thanksgiving turkey dinner put on by the Stewart boys and the long drives looking for cranberries.
