Jessome, Margaret Anne – The passing occurred on November 18, 2022 in Colchester East Hants Health Centre, Truro of Margaret Anne Jessome, age 74.
She was predeceased by her first husband, Richard Leadbetter; her son, Dean
William; her brother, John; second husband, Barry Jessome; sister, Susan; as well as her parents, Eddy & Charlotte Faulkner.
Surviving are her brother, Charles (Kim) Faulkner, Bedford; and sister, Lib, River John; her children, Rick (Ada) Jessome, Florida; Robert (Gabriela) Jessome, Alberta; Shelly (Chris) Norquay, Ontario; her grandchildren, Dean, Amber, Zacnicte, Ashley and Max; great-grandchildren, Maddy, Jax and baby Zoey.
Margie loved animals and had many over the years from her miniature horses to her fish, she enjoyed them all. She and husband, Barry purchased an older house and Margie’s artistic side shined as she refurbished it from top to bottom over the years. She spent 26 years as a custodian at the Bass River Schools. She enjoyed her job and was loved by everyone in the buildings. Everyone who came through the door of her house was expected to have a cup of tea or coffee and a snack. This was not optional. Always evident was her love of company and conversation.
A funeral service will be held in Riverside United Church, Bass River on Wednesday, November 23 at 1 p.m.
