MacDougall, Norma Jean – Age 80 of Stewiacke, passed away on Friday, November 11, 2022 in Colchester East Hants Health Centre, Truro, surrounded by her family.
Norma leaves behind her partner, Sam Turple; sons, Joseph MacDougall (Peggy), and Michael MacDougall (Penny); daughters, Clara Sheaves, Tanya Scott (Mike), Suzanne Burke (Ron), and Joanne Braconnier (Todd). Norma had 10 grandchildren whom she loved fiercely: James, Shannon, Crystal, Billy, Sarah, Justin, Jenelle, Jeffry, Serina and Tara. There are also 21 great-grandchildren and seven great great-grandchildren. She was anxiously awaiting the birth of her newest great-grandchild, Billy’s son. She is also survived by sisters, Susan, Minnie, Margaret; brothers, Jackie and Robbie.
She was predeceased by her son, Robert in infancy, and many siblings.
There will be no service by request. Norma has been cremated and will be resting in a niche in Dartmouth Memorial Gardens.
Arrangements are under the direction of Arimathea Funeral Cooperative, Upper Musquodoboit.
