Patterson, Douglas Sedwick – Age 63, of Truro and formerly of Upper Stewiacke, passed away June 16, 2021 in Colchester East Hants Health Centre, Truro.
Born in Halifax, he was a son of the late Winfred and Irene (Russell) Patterson.
Doug was a kind hard-working man. He started work on a farm in the Upper Stewiacke area but most years he worked with Canadian Springs in Valley. He retired from there due to ill health.
He will sadly be missed by his children, Chelsey, Brandon; girlfriend, Sharlene Whitlock; brothers, Cy (Lorena); niece, Glenda, nephew, William; Truman (Jennie), nephew, Jeff, niece, Janette; sister, Lila (Danny) Nolan; nieces, Erica, Vicki; nephew, Dennis; Marie’s children, Stephen, Janet and Linda.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by sister, Marie (Doug) Redmond.
Cremation has taken place.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions, there will be no funeral or visitation at this time.
