MacKay, Bonny Lynn– Age 59, of Lower Sackville who was born in Yarmouth, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family, on Thursday, April 1, 2021.

Bonny left behind a legacy of love in her family. She will be greatly missed by her sister, Crystal; brother, Scott; many nieces and nephews; and the extended MacKay family. She had overwhelming faith in God and believed she would be greeted in Heaven by her brother, Wade; and her mother, Elizabeth.

Known to many as a social butterfly, she always greeted everyone with love and kindness while working in the Sackville community. The marriage between Bonny and Bill is something to be admired by all. They were the love of each other’s lives. After meeting Bill at 17, they fell in love and have been married for 39 years.

Due to COVID-19, a family service will be held when it is safe to do so.

A special note of appreciation to our father, Bill. Thank you for fulfilling Mom’s last wish to be home with her family for her final days of life. Dad, you have shown us what true love looks like and have displayed the solemn vow to love through sickness and health. You went above and beyond to make her remaining days as comfortable and filled with love. You did an amazing job. Love you, Tarra and Gary.
