Marina Anne Reynolds

It is with broken hearts that we had to say goodbye to our mother, Marina Anne Reynolds on March 29, 2021 at the age of 84.  Mom was a daughter of the late Charles and Annie Prest.  She was born and raised in Moose River Gold Mines and lived most of her life in Upper Musquodoboit.

Mom enjoyed a good laugh, playing bridge and crib, doing crossword puzzles and spent countless hours knitting baby hats for the IWK.  She adored her fur babies and they brought her much joy throughout the years.

She is survived by her daughters, Michelle Mader (Raymond), Patti Reynolds (Kim Brown), Lisa Reynolds and Tracey Musolino (Kevin); her grandchildren, Ryan, Grant, Megan, Jordan and Taylor and their spouses as well as eight great-grandchildren.  Mom leaves behind brothers, St. Clair (Paula), George (Janice); sister, Irma Stewart and sister-in-law, Brenda; as well as many nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by brothers, Dale and Blaine; brother-in-law, Michael; as well as her husband, Billie.

Special thanks to paramedics, John and Emma, who went above and beyond for Mom and for us.

Due to COVID restrictions, a family service will be held at a time when it is safe to do so.

Arrangements are under the direction of Arimathea Funeral Cooperative, Upper Musquodoboit.

A message of condolence for the family may be left by posting your comment as a guest in the area below.

Goodbye my family, my life is past,

I loved you all to the very last.

Weep not for me, but courage take,

Love each other, for my sake,

For those you love don’t go away,

They walk beside you every day.
