Cox, Ella Marie – It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of our mom, Ella Cox on Monday, March 8, 2021 in Dartmouth General Hospital surrounded by family.
She was the youngest and only remaining child of the late Guy and Alice (Dean) Perrin of Dean Settlement.
Mom had many passions in her life, the main one being her children and grandchildren. She loved nothing better than having a house full of people to feed and everyone was always welcome to come and join in. Mom was an avid reader all of her life. She loved to garden and enjoyed many hours on her hands and knees in her flower beds or vegetable gardens. She was a nature lover and especially loved having her hummingbirds visit every year.
Mom was a volunteer at church suppers and always donated or supported many community events.
She leaves behind her children, Venita (Sandy Fraser), Kimberley (Ralph Power), Terrance (Kathy), Warner (Jean), Craig (Jeanne), Kyle. She also leaves behind grandchildren, Jeremy, Nicholas, Christopher, Tyler, Justin, Jeffery, Chantelle, Shane, Tara, Chelsi, Mallory, Kohl and Gage; great-grandchildren, Kelsi, Kolton, Madelynne, Jordan, Abbygail, Cohen, River, Trey, Tru, Emmett, Shawn, Leia, Mya and Ethan.
She was predeceased by Dad, Gerald, in 1981; son, Garnet; grandsons, Joel and Jacob.
Mom was the rock in our family and we will all miss her sweet soul forever.
We would like to thank the doctors and nurses of 4th floor ICU at Dartmouth General Hospital for the care and compassion shown to Mom on her final journey.
Cremation has taken place.
In keeping with her wishes, there will be no funeral service.
The ones we love never go away. They walk beside us even on this day. Unseen, unheard, yet always near. Still loved, still missed and very dear.
