Holman, Murray David – Age 68, of Halifax and formerly of Upper Musquodoboit, passed away May 14, 2020, in Northwood Manor due to complications from Covid-19. Born in Middle Musquodoboit, he was a son of the late Earl and Katherine “Kay” Holman.
Murray owned and operated Holman’s Restaurant in Upper Musquodoboit for a number of years. Before getting into the restaurant business, he worked as a meat cutter in Dan MacLeod’s store. Murray was an easy-going person who enjoyed being around people and always had a smile on his face and a story to tell.
Surviving are his brother, Randy (Judy); nephew, Morgan; niece, Lindsay; one great-niece and one great-nephew.
Cremation has taken place.
A private graveside service will be held in Hillcrest Cemetery, Upper Musquodoboit.
