Carrick, Robert “Kent” NSLS – Age 75 of West River Station, passed away on February 6, 2020 in Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow.
Kent was a retired Nova Scotia land surveyor. He enjoyed fishing the Barney’s River and several lakes in northern Ontario. He had been a blueberry farmer for many years.
Kent is survived by his wife, Jessie (Gratto); stepchildren, Wayne MacKenzie, James MacKenzie, Muriel MacKenzie, Alvin MacKenzie, Janie MacKenzie, Harvey MacKenzie, and Ron MacKenzie; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; his sisters, Judy Rogers, Gina Hewitt, Kathy Morow and Susan Pipher; brothers, Michael, Neil, Shawn, Kevin, Joseph, Timothy and their families. He was predeceased by his mother, Eileen June Webber; father, John Joseph Carrick; sister, Laura Lee Carrick.
Cremation has taken place under the direction of Arimathea Funeral Cooperative, Upper Musquodoboit. In keeping with his wishes there will be no visitation or funeral service.
