Daniels, Arthur Phillip “Phil” Fahie – age 65, passed away suddenly on January 26, 2020 in Dartmouth General Hospital, surrounded by his family.
Born in Dartmouth, he was a son of the late Arthur Phillip and Joan (Driscoll) Daniels.
He was a retired millwright who spent many years working in several different places including National Gypsum in Dartmouth, Halifax Shipyard, and various places in Fort McMurray. Phil loved his Harley and his family above all else. He was always telling jokes and stories to anyone who was around him, whether he knew them or not. He enjoyed spending time in Upper Musquodoboit with his best friend, Eric Menard.
Phil is survived by sisters, Barb Daniels, Theresa (John) Battcock, Kathy (Paul) Fraser, and Aleitha Daniels; daughter, Erin (Ricky) Sloan; sons, Shane (Lana), Benjamin, and Christopher (Anna-Marie); grandchildren, Dylan, Brady, Austin, Ellie, Cassie, Kaitlin, Brooklyn, Sophia; and many nieces and nephews. He was very proud of each member of his family.
Cremation has taken place under the direction of Arimathea Funeral Cooperative, Upper Musquodoboit.
Everyone is invited to an open house celebrating his life which will be held on Friday, beginning at 3:30 p.m., in Monte’s Showbar Grill, Dartmouth.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Heart and Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia or Bikers Down Society.
