Gwendolyn Kaye (Sangster) Hudson

Hudson (Sangster), Gwendolyn Kaye – Age 64 of Head Chezzetcook and formerly of New Harbour, has gone to her heavenly home on January 19, 2020, following a brief battle with cancer.

Gwen was kind hearted, giving, helpful to all, believed in the power of prayer, loved the Lord as her saviour and never asked for help from others. She loved children, whether her own, her grandchildren, or some of the many children she babysat over the years.

Gwen will be dearly missed by her loving husband, Tony; children, Terra (Sean Cormier); Trevor; grandchildren, Courtney, Auldie, Hudson, Reed, Blake, Brooklyn, David and Jasmine whom she loved with all her heart. She is also survived by siblings, Lynn (Debbie), Boyd (Susan), Terry (Pauline Hoeg), Delbert, Elwyn (Leona), Darlene, Benny (Diane), Danny (Lori), Ruth (Carmen) Nickerson, Gloria Harpell, Joyce (Randy) Pirie, Annie (Dee) Ehler, Edna (John) Simms, Vonnie (David) Pirie; many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews; cousins; brothers-in-law, Larry (Noreen) Hudson, Glenn Hudson and their families. She was predeceased by her parents, Fulton and Adeline (Crooks) Sangster; brother, Allan; nephew, Alex Ehler.

Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be Friday from 6-8:30 p.m. and funeral service Saturday at 2 p.m., both in Lake Echo Fellowship Baptist Church. Family flowers only. Memorial donations may be made to Craig’s Cause.

Arrangements are under the direction of Arimathea Funeral Cooperative, Upper Musquodoboit.
