Dean, Sheila Linda – Age 68 of Dean, passed away January 7, 2020 in Q.E. II, V.G. Site, Halifax, following surgery. Born in 1951, she was a daughter of the late Harold and Blanch (Amero) Lemmon.
Sheila spent many years caring for Henry and Marcheta Decker until their passing. She was a member of Dean Citizens on Patrol and enjoyed going to bluegrass festivals.
Surviving are son, James, Dean; sisters, Roseley Henley, Pleasant Valley; Rita (Lawrence) Carroll; Darlene Lemmon; brother, Leon, all of Dean; many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by husband, Kenneth Dean; brother, David; sister, Betty Price; brothers-in-law, Elroy Price and Harrison Henley.
Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held Tuesday, 6-8 p.m. and funeral service Wednesday at 2 p.m., both in Sharon Presbyterian Church, Dean, with Calvin Burt, student minister officiating. Burial will be in Lemmon Hill Cemetery, Dean. Memorial donations may be made to Canadian Cancer Society.
Arrangements are under the direction of Arimathea Funeral Cooperative, Upper Musquodoboit.
