Thompson, Leonard Claude – Age 61 of Enfield, passed away October 24, 2019 at home following a short illness. Born in Elmsdale, he was a son of the late John and Isabel (White) Thompson.
Most of his working life he was employed as a machine operator by Basin Contracting and Dexter Construction. He was always a hard-working man who would help anyone out.
Surviving are nieces, Chelsey, Allison and Jenna; nephews, Nathan, Jonathan (Shanda); sister-in-law, Cynthia Edgett (Tony). He was predeceased by his brother, Charles.
Cremation has taken place under the direction of Arimathea Funeral Cooperative, Upper Musquodoboit. A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday at 2 p.m. in the Enfield Legion. Memorial donations may be made to The Kidney Foundation of Canada Atlantic Branch.
