Hill, John James Ritchie “Jim” – Age 70 of Fletchers Lake, passed away October 21, 2019 in Hospice Halifax. Born in Campbellton, N.B., he was a son of the late Leola (Ritchie) Sealy.
Jim was a kind and gentle man who loved his family very much. He was a 26-year member of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police.
Surviving are wife, Debbie (Walsh) Hill, Fletchers Lake; brother, Dave Hill; stepfather, Keith Sealy, god daughter, Paula Hill, all of London, Ont.; son, Steven and his family, Fall River; stepson, Shayne Covey and his family, Lantz. He was predeceased by sister, Bonnie Hill; maternal grandparents, Lloyd and Freda Ritchie.
Cremation has taken place under the direction of Arimathea Funeral Cooperative, Upper Musquodoboit. In keeping with Jim’s wishes, there will be no funeral service. Memorial donations may be made to Hospice Halifax.
