Weatherhead, Edward George – Age 65, of Upper Rawdon, passed away at home, on January 6, 2015. Born in Windsor, he was a son of the late Earle and Erna (Frail) Weatherhead. Ed was a long-time employee of W.D. Lawrence Auto Salvage, which he thought of as his extended family. Though he lived alone, his life was not solitary; he had many friends, especially his group at Tim’s in Elmsdale. The many sincere condolences expressed from unexpected places have been heartwarming.
Surviving are brothers, Larry (Diane), Ilderton, Ont.; Brian (Debbie), Upper Rawdon; sister-in-law, Rose; nieces, Tammy, Rachael, Shereen and Lisa; nephews, Chris, David, and Andrew; grand niece, Chelsea. He was predeceased by brother, Wayne; grand niece, Savannah.
Cremation has taken place. Funeral service will be held at a later date. Memorial donations may be made to a charity of choice.
