Nicholson, Gary Paul – Age 67, passed away August 31, 2024 in Lillian Fraser Memorial Hospital, Tatamagouche.
Born in Halifax, he was a son of the late Ernie and Eileen Nicholson.
Gary moved to Tatamagouche when he was 15 years old. He was co-owner with his brothers of Nicholson Auto Salvage in Harrietsfield. He later was employed at Ski Wentworth for 25 years. Gary loved all things outdoors, fishing, trapping, but his passion hunting.
He will always be loved and missed by his loving wife, Sherry; children, Craig (Candace); Holly (Randy) Tattrie; Sherry’s children, Jennifer (Jason) Monk; Daniel Steeves; grandchildren, Camberlyn, Calla and Caprin Nicholson; June and Porter Tattrie; Eva and Jacob Monk; Sadie, Talon, Lucas, Autumn, Kaiden; and the mother of his children, Debby Lynds. He will be dearly missed by his furry companion, Rascal.
He was predeceased by his brothers, Cyril and Gerald.
A Celebration of Life will be held September 7, from 2 – 4 p.m. in Wentworth Recreation Centre.
