Veenhuis, Eunice – Age 67, of South Branch passed away April 27, 2024 in Colchester East Hants Health Centre, Truro with her family around her.
Born in Manitoba, she was a daughter of Mary Plett and the late Harold Plett.
Eunice was a nurse in the Truro Hospital for over 30 years, a job she truly enjoyed. Her positive attitude made this a true match for her, she loved looking after others. Upon her retirement from nursing, she became a tour director travelling through Eastern Canada with her husband, Hank. Eunice loved having coffee, going to lunch and talking with others. She had a deep bond with her love for her Lord Jesus Christ and loved to tell others.
Eunice will always be loved and missed by her husband of 40 years, Hank; daughter, Jessica; son, Tyler (Cara), their son, Simon; son, Brent (Natasha), and their daughter, Ellie; siblings, Gareth (Sharon), Doug (Lois), Wally (Alexis), Denise; many nieces and nephews.
Cremation has taken place.
Visitation will be Saturday, 1-1:45 p.m. followed by funeral service at 2 p.m., both in Wittenburg Baptist Church, 777 Wittenburg Road, with Pastor Jonathan Cann officiating. The service will be live streamed via Zoom.
