Moore, Edgar Kerr – Age 79 of Lake Egmont, passed away peacefully on October 1, 2024 in Colchester East Hants Health Centre, Truro.
Born in Antrim, he was a son of the late Henry and Mary (Dillman) Moore.
He will be greatly missed by all who loved him. He was a dedicated Volunteer Firefighter in Cooks Brook Department and a proud member of Local 116 Insulator’s Union.
Surviving are his wife of 58 years, Linda (Higgins) Moore; children, MaryLou, Shelley (George Csoma), Frank (Elaina), Ross (Rhonda Thompson); sisters, Clara, Nina, Margaret; 16 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by brothers, Anthony, Bob, Richard, George, Henry, Ronnie; and sisters, Rita and Freda.
Cremation has taken place.
Memorial donations may be made to Nova Scotia Heart and Stroke Foundation.
Funeral service will be held Tuesday, October 8 at 1 p.m. in St. Paul’s United Church, Antrim with Rev. Allan Lynk officiating. Burial will be in Nuttall Hill Cemetery.
