Hamilton, Betty Pauline – Age 84, of Newton Mills passed away peacefully on October 10, 2024.
Born in Hubbards, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Queenie (Coolen) Hubley and step-daughter of the late Rosamond Hubley.
Betty was an avid Boston Bruins fan. She loved hummingbirds and her family dogs she had throughout the years. In her younger years she played softball, enjoyed snowmobiling and gardening. There was rarely a time when there were not fresh flowers in the home.
Betty alongside Perley was a partner in many ventures such as maple syrup producing, harvesting blueberries and building their family home.
She is survived by her loving husband of 66 years, Perley; children, Clayton (Doreen), Debbie (Chris), Lynda (Barry), Cathy (Peter) and Chrissy (Marc); brothers, Barry (Marilyn), Brian (Lisa), Timmy (Shelly); many grandchildren and many, many great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her daughter, Wanda; sister, Marie and brother, Charles Jr. “Buddy”.
Cremation has taken place. A private family service will be held at a later date.
Memorial donations may be made to a local SPCA.
