Henderson, Gordon Brooks –Age 79, of Bible Hill passed away January 29, 2024 in Colchester East Hants Health Centre, Truro.
Born in Bayhead, he was a son of the late Russell and Doris (Tattrie) Henderson.
Gordon was self-employed most of his working life as a heavy duty mechanic. His passion was antique cars, whether it was restoring them or enjoying a drive in them. He could be found at most any antique car show. When he wasn’t involved with the cars, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, spending time at the campground and playing cards.
He will always be missed by children, Sharon (Joseph), Debbie (Steve), Kevin (Lise), Russell (Krista); grandchildren, Matthew, Ryan, Justin, Christopher, Jeremy, Trenton, Madison, Jill; brother, Roy (Starr); and special friend, Gail.
He was predeceased by his loving wife, Anne (Best); siblings, Danny, Johnny and Edith.
Cremation has taken place.
A graveside service will be held in Bible Hill Cemetery at a later date.
Memorial donations may be made to Canadian Cancer Society.
