Ramsey (Metlin), Sharon “Anne”- Age 78 of Stewiacke, passed away peacefully in her home on July 11, 2023 with her family by her side.
Anne was born in Halifax, and raised in Rockingham by her parents, Ruben and Irene Metlin, and was a special sister to her brother, Mark Metlin.
Being a stay-at-home mom to her three children, Anne’s door was always open to the neighbourhood kids who grew up considering her to be their second mom until the very end. Anne’s beautiful smile, wit, unique dancing abilities, and sense of humour were quickly known wherever she went. Her passion was for the camp and the birds, whom we know she is flying amongst, at peace. But most of all Anne’s love was for her family. Her greatest joy in her life was her grandchildren and her great-grandchildren whom she cherished with her whole heart.
Anne is survived by her husband, Bob Ramsey; twin daughters, Sonia (Ricky), Sherry; son, Chad (Monique); grandchildren, Whitney, Justin (Carley), Travis, Ryan (Emily); very special great-grandchildren, Abbie, Halle, and baby girl Smith who is on her way; step great-grandchildren, Bradley, Emma and Cohen.
She will be sadly missed by her Metlin family, cousins in Ontario, especially her dearest Mary White, whom she loved profoundly.

A Celebration of Life will be held on July 15, 2 – 4 p.m., at the family home.
A graveside service will take place at a later date.
Memorial donations may be made to Canadian Cancer Society.
Cremation and arrangements have been entrusted to Arimathea Funeral Cooperative, Upper Musquodoboit.
