Clifford Russell Faulkner

Faulkner, Clifford Russell – With broken hearts we had to say goodbye to our Dad on April 1, 2023. Born in Jeddore to the late Charles and Gertrude Faulkner. Dad was 89 and doing ok but time had come for his next journey. He was the last to be born in his family and the last to go. Dad was on Sable Island with his dad and family for many years. He had worked for the Canadian Coast Guard and retired at the age of 57. He worked on the ships, the last on was the CCGS Narwhal as bosun until he came to shore and became a crane operator and then moved on to truck driver for the Coast Guard. After retirement he and Mom moved to Moser River where they fished, hunted and enjoyed the ATV's. Many thanks to their friends from the area for being there for them over the years. Special thanks to Norm Dodgson and Shirley Cox for being there for Dad.

Cliff and Mona had five children, Russell (Jackie), Elizabeth (Alan), Nancy (Mark) and Melvin; grandchildren, Vanessa, Joey, Todd, Samantha, Brittany, Charles and Shaina; great-grandchildren, Austin, Natalie, Hazel, Haley, Madison and Leland.

He was predeceased by wife, Mona; daughter, Joan; grandson, Ryan; great-granddaughter, Kynslee; siblings, Mary, Charles, Florence, George and Gerald.

Thank you to everyone who came and visited, made phone calls over the last couple years while dad was in The Birches. Special thanks to the staff at The Birches for the care you gave to our Dad. Thanks to the doctors and nurses at Twin Oaks Memorial Hospital and Musgo Rider.
