Smith, Frances Catherine – of Stewiacke, died December 9, 2023 in Colchester East Hants Health Centre, Truro just days shy of her 80th birthday.
Born in Halifax, she was a daughter of the late Robert “Bud” and June (Hodgson) Kaulback.
Surviving are her son, Robert Blair Smith, Middle Musquodoboit; sister, Jeanie Kopitoski, Salmon River; niece, Pam (Greg) Johnston, Truro and their daughter, Abbi.
She was predeceased by her husband, Emmerson; sister, Margaret “Margie” Fisher; brothers-in-law, Ernie Kopitoski and Victor Fisher.
Cremation has taken place.
A graveside service will be held at a later date in Middle Stewiacke Cemetery.
Memorial donations may be made to Heart and Stroke Foundation, Canadian Cancer Society or Alzheimer Society of Canada.
