Lattie, Edna Gertrude – Age 88, of Nine Mile River, passed away peacefully on Friday, November 3, 2023 in Colchester East Hants Health Centre, Truro.
Edna grew up on her parents’ farm. She was a strong supportive member of Nine Mile River United Church. She loved her family dearly and especially cherished the time spent with her granddaughters. Edna enjoyed doing puzzles, playing board games, music and going to the local jamborees.
Edna is survived by her husband of 60 years, Adam; children, Robin (Karen), Lisa; granddaughters, Alyssa, Renaye, Kayla and Zoe; sister, Beatrice; brother, Earle (Avora); several nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her son-in-law, Shane Awalt.
Funeral service will be Wednesday, November 8, at 2 p.m. in Nine Mile River United Church with Rev. Kim Curlett officiating. Burial to follow in Sand Hill Cemetery, Ess Road.
Memorial donations may be made to Nine Mile River United Church.
