Dean, Gordon Nelson – The passing occurred on Tuesday, October 17, 2023 of Gordon Nelson Dean, age 77, of South Branch, in Glen Haven Manor where he was a resident for the past 5 months.
Gordon was born in Truro to the late Susie and Ernest Dean.
He is survived by his sister, Helen; nieces and nephew.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by sisters, Verna, Ruth, Hazel and brothers, John, twin George and Ross.
Gordon was a life long resident of South Branch and worked in the woods. He had a deep affection for animals, his horses, his cat, Shadow, feeding birds and country music.
Cremation has taken place. No visitation of funeral service.
Burial will take place in South Branch Cemetery on October 28th at 2 p.m. All are welcome.
If desired, memorial donations may be made to South Branch Cemetery or a charity of choice.
