Read, Elaine Mildred – Age 75, of Truro and formerly Upper Musquodoboit passed away January 7, 2023.
Born in Halifax, she was a daughter of the late Judson and Effie (Higgins) Hartlin.
Surviving are sons, Jonathan (Gay), Jamie, Jay; stepchildren, Smith, Mary and Phil; numerous grandchildren, and great-grandchildren; sisters, Ivy and Joyce; brother, Lewis; daughters-in-law, Roberta and Paula; sisters-in-law, Reta and Carol Hartlin.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by husband, Garnet; brothers, Roy, Ralph and Ira.
A Celebration of Life will be held on May 21, 2023 at 1 p.m. at Royal Canadian Legion Branch 147, Upper Musquodoboit.
Memorial donations may be made to Colchester SPCA or IWK Health Foundation.
