Hines, Georgina G. – It is with great sadness the family of Georgina Hines announce that she passed away peacefully in Colchester East Hants Health Centre on September 3, 2022.
She was born in Middle Musquodoboit, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Ida Ruggles.
Georgina taught ceramics and loved to camp. She worked many years at Sobeys before enjoying her retirement.
She is survived by her lifelong partner, Ronald Lowe; sons, Wally (Doreen), Glen (Sarah), Darren (Colette); daughter-in-law, MaryLynn; stepdaughters, Nadene, Nancy, Susan; sisters, Marjorie, Betty (Johnny); eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Sharon Ruggles, Marion Ruggles; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by husband, Foster Hines; sons, Douglas, Steven; brothers, Ronald, Donald; and brother-in-law, Karl.
In keeping with her wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral service.
