Natasha Donne (MacEachen) Forbes

Forbes (MacEachen), Natasha Donne – It is with broken hearts that the family of Natasha Donne (MacEachen) Forbes of Middle Musquodoboit, formally of Long Point, announce her passing on September 28, 2022 after a short but valiant fight with cancer. 

She was a loving mother to her three greatest gifts, Connor, Cowen and Rebecca (all at home) and devoted wife to Jeff. Natasha was the eldest daughter of Donald and Judy (Burke) MacEachen formally of Port Hood; sister to Juleen Pottie (Darryl) of Port Hawkesbury; and beloved aunt to Archer and Vivian.  Natasha is survived by aunts, Josephine Higgins, Marian MacDonald, Phyllis MacDonald, Jeannette MacNeil, Diana Drake and Angela (Jake) McBurney; her extended Forbes Family; and numerous cousins.

Natasha was predeceased by her maternal grandparents, Mary and Jim Burke, Port Hood; paternal grandparents, Ida and Dan Joe MacEachen, Port Hood; mother and father-in-law, Lorraine and Ken Forbes, Enfield; aunts Donna Grandmaison, Maureen MacEachen, Lorna MacEachen, Joan Lee, Margret Murphy, Florence MacDonald; and uncles Francis Whitfield (Buddy) Burke, James Burke, Cyril MacNeil, Ranold MacDonald, Ronald MacDonald and Ron Higgins, Jeff Drake and Ken Grandmaison.

Natasha graduated with honors from St. FX in Antigonish with BBA in Management.  Natasha worked as the Marketing Director for many years at Cox and Palmer in Halifax, she also volunteered as a 4H leader in Middle Musquodoboit and participated in many organizations in which her children were involved. Natasha was an avid reader and enjoyed her book club meetings.

Visitation will be held Wednesday 10 – 10:45 a.m. in St. Bernard’s Catholic Church followed by mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. Interment will be in Pine Grove Cemetery, Stewiacke East. 

Memorial donations may be made to Pine Grove Cemetery or Arimathea Funeral Cooperative.

Arrangements are under the direction of Arimathea Funeral Cooperative, Upper Musquodoboit.
