Spiers, John Richard – Age 73, passed away peacefully on December 12, 2022 in Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow.
Born in Windsor, Ontario, he was a son of the late Ernest and Ella (Bulmer) Spiers.
John enjoyed the outdoors and for many years worked for Parks and Recreation and as a Game Warden. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, cooking and singing. Over the past several years, John has devoted himself in his church as an Elder, leading sermons and counselling others.
John is survived by his son, John (Angela); 3 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren; son, MacKenzie (Dawn); brothers, Ron (Diane), Michael (Jeannie), Robert; and many nieces and nephews.
Service will be held Tuesday, December 20th at 2:30 p.m. in Dartmouth Seventh-Day Adventist Church, 35 Lakecrest Drive, Dartmouth.
Interment will be held at a later date with family.
