Lemmon, Herman Delmar – Age 87, of Dean, passed away November 19, 2022 in Colchester East Hants Health Centre, Truro.
Born in Dean, he was a son of the late Edna Lemmon.
Herman spent his working years as a woodsman and working in the local sawmills. He enjoyed playing cards and the outdoors, particularly hunting and fishing. He spent many summers camping with his family and always had a bountiful garden to share.
Surviving are his wife, Patricia; sons, Roger, Michael (Marion); daughter, Brenda (Sonny) Nickel; grandchildren, Jessica, Alex Lemmon, and Brandon, Ashley Marshall; great-grandsons, Jackson Lemmon, Blaze and Kingston Marshall; aunt, Vera Rudolph.
Besides his mother, he was predeceased by uncles and aunts with whom he was raised, Harold, Clifford, Carl, Luther, Doug, Earl, Lawrence, Mary, an aunt and uncle in infancy.
Visitation will be Tuesday 6-8 p.m. and funeral service Wednesday at 2 p.m. both in Sharon Presbyterian Church, Dean with Rev. David LeBlanc officiating.
Burial to follow in Lemmon Hill Cemetery.
Family flowers only. Memorial donations may be made to a charity of choice.
Arrangements are under the direction of Arimathea Funeral Cooperative, Upper Musquodoboit.
