Hamilton, Laurence “Larry” Adelbert – Age 79, of Truro Heights and formerly of North Salem passed away peacefully but unexpectedly at home on October 29, 2022.
Born in Halifax, he was a son of the late Laurence and Nina (Goodwin) Hamilton.
Larry had a great spirit of adventure and was an inspiration to many. He lived his life with many kind deeds for others. Larry loved being a story-teller and just reaching out to others. He played hockey and enjoyed snowboarding into his 70’s. Larry enjoyed the simple way of life and loved his family.
He will always be loved and missed by his wife, Caroline (DeLong); sons, Neil (Kelly) and their children, Keira, Zach, James and William; Mark (Jenn) and their children, Trenton and Analeigh; daughter, Lynne VanZanden; and brother, Robert.
Larry was predeceased by his son, Brian; and brother, Gregory.
Cremation has taken place.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, November 7th at 11 a.m. in St. Bridget’s Catholic Church, Shubenacadie with Deacon Wilfred Boudreau officiating.
Memorial donations may be made to Shumilacke Food Bank.
