Jenson, Lynn Brereton – age 75 of Chaswood, passed away January 12, 2022 at home following a short illness.
Born in Victoria, British Columbia, he was a son of the late Latham “Yogi” and Anna (McParlon) Jenson.
Lynn was an outdoorsman, adventurer and world traveller who was always ready to share his stories. He was a teacher for more than 50 years and touched the lives of many as a mentor, leader and friend, sharing his wisdom and experience generously.
Surviving are his wife, Helen; daughter, Bridget; sister, Sarah; special sister-in-law, Annalee McQuaker; nephew, Luke; nieces, Jesse Lee (Jason), Molly Crosby (Dylan) and Kate; great-nieces and nephews, Isabelle and Isaac Birch, Declan Jenson.
He was predeceased by his step-father, Stephen Jenner; step-mother, Alma Jenson; brother, Thomas; sons, Ben and Sam.
Cremation has taken place.
In keeping with Lynn’s wishes, there will be no funeral service.
Memorial donations may be made to Musquodoboit Valley Family Resource Centre or a Nova Scotia SPCA.
