Wambalt, Herbert Gordon Michael “Ken” – Age 76, of Dartmouth passed away July 23, 2021 in Dartmouth General Hospital.
Born in Montreal, he was a son of Constance Thomas, and was raised by his grandparents, Horace and Eva.
Ken had been employed with CNR in Montreal before joining the Navy. Following a 25 year career in the Navy, he retired and enjoyed reading and spending time with his family.
Surviving are his wife, Donna (Fraser); daughters, Leeann (Wayne) Chapman, Andrea (Bill) Busby, Crystal (Nason) Dacey; grandchildren, Wayne (Alyssa) Chapman, Adam Chapman, Paula-May Busby, M.J. Busby, Kelsie-Ann Busby, Keira Dacey (Mitchell Haines), Connor Dacey, Keegan Dacey, Kiana Dacey; great-grandchildren, Kingston Chapman, Peach Chapman, Dawson Haines, Claire Haines, Logan Haines.
He was predeceased by great-grandson, Shawn Wambalt.
Cremation has taken place.
A Celebration of life will be held at a later date.
Arrangements are under the direction of Arimathea Funeral Cooperative, Upper Musquodoboit.
